The Atrium is a signatory to the regional charter De Vignes en Caves: the promise of an authentic tasting moment. This welcome charter invites you to share some authentic and warm experiences in the cellars of almost 330 professionals, from Chablis to Mâcon. This label was created in 1992, on the call of the Bourgogne Wine Board.

This national label created in 2009 brings together 600 different wine-related activities across the 8 main area of the Bourgogne winegrowing region

L’Atrium est partenaire de l’Office de Mâcon et du Mâconnais ! Surrounded by more than 5 000 hectares of vines, Mâcon invites you to taste its Crus as reknown as the Pouilly Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Pouilly-Loché, Pouilly-Vinzelles, Viré-Clessé… Or else the very close wines from the Beaujolais (Saint-Amour, Juliénas, Moulin-à-Vent…) ! The National Institute for Appellations of Origin (INAO) has held a meeting on September 3rd, 2020, that led to the certification of the 22 climates Premier Cru for the appellation Pouilly-Fuissé.

For more than 10 years, the Producers Union worked on the application process together with the INAO, studying climates’ history, cultural practices, elevation, soils, slopes,… This 10 year-process led to the classification of 194 hectares (24% of the Pouilly-Fuissé area), spread over the 4 villages of the appellation: Chaintré, Fuissé, Solutré-Pouilly et Vergisson.
The Mâconnais communal appellations were the only one not to benefit from this classification so far !
